Vice President of Food & Beverage
Danny Py is Vice President of Food & Beverage for First Hospitality Group (FHG). Bringing more than 29 years of hospitality food and beverage experience to the group, he is responsible for the development and implementation of programs and processes within the food and beverage department for all FHG properties. Mr. Py oversees concepts and provides the teams with the right tools to increase productivity and enriching FHG’s culinary offerings.
Mr. Py joined FHG in 2018, having gained noteworthy experience working in restaurant buildouts, construction management, and restaurant concept design. Mr. Py dived into restaurant operations when he became restaurant manager in the Caribbean, expanding his palate and passion to the tropical flavors. Utilizing his experience as a restaurant general manager, Mr. Py opened his own restaurant in Delaware furthering his food and beverage knowledge. Mr. Py returned to central Florida and was able to lend his skill set into a Multi-unit director of operations for a restaurant group in Tampa.
Prior to joining FHG, Mr. Py served as Corporate Director of Operations at the Richardson Group in South Carolina. Mr. Py served as Corporate Director of Food & Beverage for the Kessler Collection Hotel Group, a hospitality brand member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection. During his time at Kessler, he oversaw 11 hotels food and beverage programs.
When he’s not working, you may find Mr. Py trying new restaurants with his wife and spending time doing outdoor activities with his two sons.
